CBYC is committed to developing and fostering yachting for its members, by encouraging and promoting seamanship, goodwill and sportsmanship.

CBYC Values and Guiding Principles

Values represent the core priorities in the Club’s culture, including what drives members’ priorities and how they truly act in the organization.

• CBYC welcomes sailors and powerboaters alike to join the Club and participate in quality programs and activities.
• CBYC offers an affordable opportunity for its members to join a “yachting community”, characterized by informality, camaraderie, goodwill, and friendly competition
• Volunteerism is a cornerstone of the Club – CBYC would not exist without regular and broad-based contributions from all its members.
• CBYC enjoys and respects a synergistic relationship with Collins Bay Marina, and is committed to working cooperatively with the Marina to achieve our respective goals and objectives.
